He would make his Diamond League debut in Rabat less than a month later, finishing fourth in the men’s 100 with a time of 10.26 seconds. He would improve his finish to third at the Prefontaine Classic later in the spring with a time of 10.08 seconds.

In April 2025, he improved his personal best to 9.93 seconds. He would go on to be named for the 2025 World Athletics Relays in Guangzhou, China, and help the U.S. relay team capture silver in the 4 x 100-meter relay. His time of 9.94 seconds would be the 17th fastest in the world in 2024.
Hicklin achieved his long jump personal best of 8.18 meters at the Aggie Classic in Greensboro, North Carolina in 2022. The jump would be the 18th longest in the world that year.
